Scores Feared Injured As Bomb Explosion Rocks 3 Courts In Rivers State

According to a report on Premium Times, a coordinated bombing of three different courts has occurred in the politically charged South-South state of Rivers, the state police command has said. A high court was bombed in Port Harcourt, the state capital, while two others were similarly attacked in Degema and Isiokpo, police said. Details of the bombings as well as casualty figure are still however sketchy.

News of the attacks on the courts came a week after suspected political thugs attacked members of the All Progressives Congress [APC], who were setting up equipment and canopies for a scheduled political rally. The location was later bombed.
