The tension must be high. I can’t even imagine what would be going through Professor Osinbajo’s mind right now. So Mrs Osinbajo drove herself and her husband to a polling unit at VGC this morning (you already saw the photo below) for them to be accredited. And she looks smart doing that. Just imagine if we had paparazzi in Nigeria, see what we would have been enjoying. First hand photos, not just the ones they pose for. More photos below.

The photo above is a picture a youth posted on his Facebook page about an hour ago, explaining his best friend’s girl friend is with him and he’s tempted to sleep with her because he feels horny. Shockingly, as explicit as the photo is, his friends have been liking it and even commenting about it, encouraging him to go ahead and do it. You can read some of the comments below. INEC announces that voting will continue tomorrow, adopts manual accreditation in some areas

INEC has adopted manual accreditation in polling units where card readers did not work or worked very late. They also announced that arrangements will be made for voters who couldn't vote today to vote tomorrow Sunday March 29th. See the tweets after the cut...

The police in Lagos State have arrested a 27-year-old robbery suspect, Mohammed Nafiu, who specialised in using monkeys and snakes to dispossess people of their money and valuables.

One of the monkeys was also arrested and is presently in police custody.

Nafiu told the police that apart from the conventional tool (gun) used by most robbers, the sight of a snake or monkey unsettles and scares people. He said he was able to dispossess his victims of their valuables when confronted with these animals, especially fully grown ones.

The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) in Jigawa state has announced the postponement of election in seven out of eleven federal constituencies. According to the resident electoral commissioner in the state, Alhaji Halliru Aliyu Tambawel, the postponement was as a result of lack of sensitive materials including ballot papers and results sheets from the Central Bank of Nigeria to be used for the elections.

As the country steps out to vote, it has been reported that a bomb went off this morning in Enugu, at the Women Training Centre. The State Police Commissioner, who confirmed the incident, has also stated that the anti-bomb squad was immediately called to the scene and they were able to successfully avert a second explosion by detonating a second explosive found on the premises.

Tearful Karrueche Tran Speaks To Iyanla Vanzant During OWN Interview About Being Betrayed By Chris Brown

In a newly released preview for her upcoming OWN special, Karrueche Tran is seen breaking down in tears as Oprah Winfrey Network host and life coach Iyanla Vanzant asks her her on-off boyfriend of four years Chris Brown. On Tuesday, The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arraigned Justice Unuafe and his son, Omorigho Unuafe, at Federal High Court in Rivers State, on a 4-count charge bordering on obstruction, possession of fraudulent documents and obtaining money by false pretence. Several sources yesterday confirms that many passengers had to stand inside the airplane (Just like Lagos danfo buses) after Arik Air sold more tickets than the seats available inside the plane could accommodate. The Lagos bound flight scheduled to leave Abuja by 2pm was also delayed till 9pm yesternight. Aggrieved Yola and Sokoto passengers also had their flight scheduled for 9am delayed till 9pm before being eventually cancelled.

Nigerian Military Recaptures Gwoza - The Boko Haram Caliphate Headquarters

The Nigerian army says it has retaken the north-eastern town of Gwoza, believed to be the headquarters of militant Islamist group Boko Haram. The insurgents had now been driven from virtually all the territory they had held, it said. Some militants were now fleeing towards border areas, the military said.

The Rivers state Police command has released a statement regarding the alleged attack on Governor Rotimi Amaechi's convoy in Port Harcourt yesterday March 26. In the statement, the police said contrary to what was said by the Amaechi's Chief Press secretary, David Iyofor that political thugs loyal to the PDP attacked the governor's convoy, it was Governor Amaechi himself who orchestrated the gunshots fired at his convoy to gain public sympathy. "No Apologies For Confirming Obanikoro As Minister" – David Mark

Senate President, David Mark, has rebuffed criticisms over his decision to apparently orchestrate a Senate confirmation for Musiliu Obanikoro, who was appointed by President Goodluck Jonathan for a ministerial post despite being at the centre of an election rigging scandal. In a statement signed by his spokesperson, Kola Ologbondiyan, David Mark said he followed the rules of the Senate and will not bend them to please Nigerians no matter how “vociferous or violent” their complaints may be. The Federal government through the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission on Tuesday has announced a reduction in electricity tariffs by half and the immediate review of electricity tariffs by about 50%. The Chairman of the Commission, Sam Amadi, who announced the review in Abuja, said the reduction, which takes effect from the end of March, followed the regulatory agency’s decision to remove collection losses from customer tariff under the multi-year tariff order.

Silverbird’s Aishat Mustapha Stabbed To Death In Cold Blood At Her Home

According to a report on DailyTimes, One of Silverbird’s popular staff, Aisha Mustapha has been murdered in cold blood. Friends and family are still in shock on her death and the police has launched an investigation of the incident. The brutal murder happened on the 14th of March at about 9pm at her home in GRA Ogudu just as she came back from work. Evidence shows that she was stabbed several times despite being pregnant.
