Chopper bikes are back on the streets following demand from parents who want to “recreate the magic for their children”.
The 70s arrow-wedge bike with its padded backrest and odd-sized wheels has been brought back by Nottingham makers Raleigh.

Halfords, which is selling a limited edition red version, said: “The nostalgia trend has helped this much-loved retro bike’s comeback.”
The new Chopper starts at £250, compared to £32 for a 70s standard model.
Along with disco and flares, the bikes were an icon of the 1970s and were a firm favourite of all children during the decade.
Unique features of the bikes include a padded backrest and distinctive handle-bars and saddle.
The new 2015 Choppers are painted gold and silver and will be released alongside other colours in red and green.
Speaking to Mail Online, Ben Hillsdon, Raleigh Marketing Manager said: 'Whether you're young or old it's hard not to be taken in by the charm of the Chopper.
'As soon as we saw the sleek black and gold leaf design of this year's Chopper we knew we were onto a winner.
'This British cultural icon has bags of personality and we're certain it will be an instant collector's item."
