Witnesses and medics said an air-launched missile hit the entrance of the school in Rafah, where hundreds of Palestinians were sheltering from a fresh wave of strikes which killed at least 30 people across Gaza this morning. Around 30 injured children and adults were rushed through the blood-spattered streets in the arms of residents as differing reports emerged of the attack, which another news agency said hit people queuing for food supplies near the facility. It comes just four days after at least 15 Palestinians who sought refuge in a UN school in the Jabalya refugee camp were killed during fighting.
