Dulux Let’sColourNigeria Project, CAP Plc to give Gbagada General Hospital new look


In line with its ‘Let’s Colour’ payoff and riding on the power of colours at creating a better living environment for people all over the world, CAP Plc makers of Dulux brand of premium paint is set to execute the 2014 Dulux Let’s Colour Project for Nigeria.

The project which is part of the AkzoNobel global Corporate Social Responsibility initiative aimed at adding colours to lives would take place at the Gbagada General Hospital, Lagos where the Old Block of the hospital is expected to be renovated and made-over. Continue...

This year, the theme for Dulux Nigeria’s Let’s Colour Project is #BecauseColoursHeal. Dulux Nigeria will be using the power of colours to heal and cheer hospital patients back to sound health by making over an old block of General Hospital Gbagadaon August 14, 2014.

Participantsof the Let’s Colour Project include the Executive Director of UACN Mr. Joe Dada, Managing Director CAP Plc Mrs. OmolaraEkeinde, members of the CAPPlc Leadership Team, members of the Interior Decorators Association of Nigeria (IDAN), Ace Radio Personality Dan Foster, Dulux Colour Center Agents amongst others. The participants will be tasked to paint the hospital block under the supervision of professional painters and share pictures of their contributed efforts on social media.

The interior of the hospital block will be painted with AkzoNobel recommended hospital colours, which are projectedto lift the mood and spirit of hospital patients whilstinspiring and cheering them back to sound health. Some of the exciting colours that will be used for the makeover are Ochre White, Lilac, Pale Green, Bright Yellow, Frosted Grape, Green Clay, Indigo amongst others.  

The Marketing Manager of Dulux Nigeria, Oladeji Dominic revealed that the Let’s Colour Project is one of the most important and thrilling CSR initiatives of Dulux Nigeria because it is targeted at giving back to the society in the most colourful and exciting way.
