Nyako’s Removal! Adamawa Assembly Approves 50 Special Advisers For Acting Governor

Though he will be in office for less than three months as Adamawa acting governor, Umaru Fintiri has gotten approval to appoint 50 Special Advisers, Premiumtimes reports.

The Adamawa House of Assembly today approved Mr. Fintiri’s request to appoint the 50 Special Advisers that would assist him in running the affairs of the state. The request was granted at the plenary, after a letter on the issue was read by the acting Speaker, Kwamoti Laori.

A member of the house had argued that since the acting governor would run the state without necessarily appointing commissioners, there was need to grant his request to appoint Special Advisers
