PICTURED: U.S. doctor infected with Ebola virus unsteady on his feet as he is helped out of an ambulance in a hazmat suit and WALKS into hospital after flying to Georgia for treatment

Dr. Kent Brantly landed in Marietta, Georgia, just outside Atlanta, on Saturday morning after being evacuated from West Africa, where he contracted the Ebola virus while working at a clinic in Liberia............. continue after the cut
News helicopter footage appears to show Brantly - whose condition is listed as stable - walking into a containment facility at Emory University Hospital, where he will receive treatment. A second patient, aid worker Nancy Writebol, is expected to arrive at the same facility on Monday. Ebola is a severe acute viral illness with a fatality rate of up to 90 percent that is transmitted through close contact with the blood, secretions, organs or other bodily fluids of those who are infected.
