A baby girl tragically drowned after tipping head-first into a bucket of water.
Mariella Dalimata died just 10 days away from celebrating for her first birthday as her family had been saving money for a party.
She fell into the bucket, which was about to be used for mopping, at her family home last Saturday.
Police have said the evidence is consistent with "accidental death".
Brooke Schwab, the girl’s aunt, said the child had been left alone for no more than four minutes.
She added that Mariella's death should serve as a warning to other parents who should "be aware of just how quick drowning can happen".
Mariella's parents Kayla and Mark Dalimata, from Creston, Montana, have been left devastated.
"We were planning to have a birthday party. We weren’t planning to have funeral expenses," Brooke Swab told the Daily Interlake.
A fundraising page has been set up to help Mariella's family with the funeral.
"Her family does not have much money and could use prayers and support through this time," the page says.
