20-year-old tattoo artist crushed to death between elevators

                             

A 20-year-0ld  tattoo artist  has been crushed to death by an elevator in the Bronx, US, on Monday morning. According to reports from NY Post, Tito “Beboo” Morales was on his way to pick up a pack of cigarettes when he became wedged between the elevator and the shaft wall around 4 a.m. on the 19th Floor in the Adams Houses on Tinton Avenue.
Residents said he had been elevator surfing, but that could not immediately be confirmed. Morales was pronounced dead at the scene. No criminality is suspected. A representative for New York City Housing Authority referred all inquires to the NYPD. The last time an elevator inspection was conducted at the building was in January 2013, according to the Buildings Department website.
