Devante Johnson has been accused of stabbing a man whom he was having sex with in a Tallahassee, Fla., cemetery on June 24. According to police, Johnson met the victim at the Oakland Cemetery at about 11 p.m., and the two men engaged in sexual activity in a car until Johnson mentioned the victim’s ex-lover and then stabbed him multiple times.

WTXL reports the alleged victim kicked Johnson out of his car and locked the door. The victim told Tallahassee police that Johnson tried to get back into the car via a partially-rolled down window, but the victim hit the gas and drove through the cemetery’s fence.

According to the Tallahassee Democrat, the victim flagged down a police car, and was taken to a local hospital. The victim underwent surgery for his wounds, which included a punctured lung and lacerated liver. Johnson was arrested last Wednesday and charged with attempted murder
